The LIVE music is non-stop this year already! We've had a number of TRIO shows already and a load more on the way! Bars, and private parties -- even a pair of boat cruises on the might St. Lawrence River!!
The DUO has been less busy as compared to other years (emphasizing more TRIO shows), but we've still managed a few solid gigs at the Georgian Dragon, and a FANFEST for the Brockville Speedway in the Walmart parking lot, and at Donnelly's.
My first of three SOLO shows happened at Donnelly's on the River in Ivy Lea. Such a great venue for playing -- the view is amazing!
We are celebrating a school reunion in Lindsay, Ontario on June 1st weekend -- 20 years already... what the!!??? In light of the reunion, the Fisheads are going to have a reunion too -- Steve and I will be firing up the Fisheads show like we used to, so many years ago! The event will be held at the Moose Lodge -- gonna be a pile of fun for sure!
I can say that although the spring was nearly non-existent, we're starting to get nicer temperatures and people are heading out to local watering holes to get caught up with old friends, going for date night, and just relaxing after a long week at work - it's evident by the traffic the bars and restaurants are having now that the cold weather has broken.
There will be so much more to report soon, as we get into the heart of the summer and the craziness of the steady gigging! I'm not gonna lie. I love it.. It's a pile of fun!
